Dania Beach — still just “Dania” to plenty of people — is one of the oldest incorporated cities in Broward County, and it wears that history openly. It was known for years as the Antique Capital of the South, and the older storefronts along Federal Highway still carry that character.
The east side is all water: the Dania Beach Pier, the sand at Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park, and the constant low hum of planes turning out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International next door.

Taquería Luna is about nine miles north of Dania Beach at 598 Prospect Rd in Oakland Park — near the outer edge of our range, but comfortably inside it. We cook Mexican street food to order: shrimp and cheese tacos, thick hand-made sopes, birria that has been going since long before service started.
If you are flying in late or coming off the pier, our Thursday-through-Sunday hours are worth checking before you head home.
